A DIFFERENT VOICE.

“Kansans are hurting right now. People are unemployed, families are trying to juggle more than ever before, and everyone is genuinely worried about what tomorrow holds. I get it. As a mom, former classroom teacher, school principal and financial planner I have a unique perspective on what Kansans are facing right now. I know that the answers to the challenges we face won’t come from Topeka special interest groups — they’ll come from conversations on your doorstep. That’s why I’m out here — having conversations with voters like yourself. Because I want to know what concerns you so when I go to Topeka — I can work to address them. I’ll be an independent voice, committed to the people I serve and I will always put you first.”

CREATE NEW JOBS. NOW.

COVID-19 has hit us all hard. Creating new jobs and rebuilding the economy has to be our top priority. We will do this by helping small businesses rebuild, easing unnecessary restrictions, attracting manufacturing jobs away from China and focusing on building our technology sector.

LOWER COST & IMPROVE ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE

The rising costs of healthcare and declining access impacts everyone, but especially seniors. We must do everything possible to lower costs while protecting the quality of care everyone receives.

GETTING PROPERTY TAXES UNDER CONTROL

Rising property valuations and high mill levies are forcing too many from their homes.  We need to stop the spike in property tax increases, especially now that so many families struggle with the impact of COVID-19.

YOUR COST OF LIVING

Special breaks for the politically connected too often mean that you wind up paying higher energy rates, higher property taxes and higher sales taxes on everything from your food to your cell phone. I’m committed to making sure that the middle-class and those with income challenges don’t wind up with bigger and bigger bills as we face these challenging times.
